it was a fun saturday indeed, we started the day by going to sta. fe for an early morning swimming season with jr, rainer and reyson it lasted for about 2 hours then we ate our breakfast at chowking... from there jr went to his practice and reyson to an unknown location... hahaha... rainer and i went straight to punta taytay to join brent, jan and the rest of the bsim student which are having a coastal clean up activity... then later went to jan's house to have some lunch and kill some time before going home... fun! fun! fun!... hehhe... also yesterday at teddy's place we asked nanay (teddy's loyal helper)to cook for us some spaghetti, so we went to grab some groceries at lopues east then later returned again to buy a gallon of ice cream, it's our way of celebrating the end of the long and hard struggles in our college life... more pictures on my multiply page... peace!
After a much heated campaigns the election fever are almost finally over. Pending the final canvassing of votes by the congress the people have chosen a new leader to rule the country for the next 6 years. The presumptive president is a mayor from a city down south of the Philippines known for his iron fisted style of government. What makes this election interesting is the process on how people now choose their leaders. Traditionally, we oath to go for people with great experience, plans, smart and proper character and attitude someone we normally call 'honorable'. This election changed that idea, people now go for leaders with real simple plans to solve recurring problems in the society, strong work portfolio to showcase their capability to govern and implement real solutions. Good luck to the newly elected president, I wish you well in your quest to change this country into something everyone wish it should be. Peace!
