went to teddy's house to check on our OS project about data scheduling, when i arrived jan and bagz were already there, we had a great time laughing at teddy's magic coin that knows what lies ahead in the future according to him... then at around 3:00pm went to kuppa to have some coffee after a while brent arrived... we stayed there doing our usual business, laugh trip again... we decided to leave the place at around 5:00pm and went to see the newly opened 888 mall and found it not so interesting except for the dildo shop they found at the second floor... hahaha... i'm not sure about that one but they saw a sign... we stayed for about 8 - 10 minutes and then went to sm before going home... its already march and in a few weeks time i will be graduating, at last my dream of wearing a toga while receiving my diploma will come true... the last time i have this chance was in tup-visayas and i did not even went up the stage, i was near the electrical building clapping for my classmates and later found myself drinking at the faculty room in celebration... whehhe... since then i told myself that i must go back studying and this time receive my diploma on stage... my three school year stay in la salle is quite different compared to my tupv days... in tup we are just a small community of students and the closeness is really evident that until now we don't forget to say hi or smile to our fellow tupvians when we see each other anywhere... even when i'm in manila inside a jeepney, you'll be surprised that a fellow would ask you "taga tup ka noh?"... now la salle bacolod is such a big university and everything is totally different, i can say that i will graduate without even knowing some faces in our college... i might not even recognize them outside if not for the uniform they're wearing... that's why i have this book i bought at book sale, i will have it signed or autographed by my close, known and unknown friends that has been a part of my lasallian experience... i may not be a true blooded lasallian but i can now say to myself that i am now both a lasallian and a tupvian by heart... peace!
After a much heated campaigns the election fever are almost finally over. Pending the final canvassing of votes by the congress the people have chosen a new leader to rule the country for the next 6 years. The presumptive president is a mayor from a city down south of the Philippines known for his iron fisted style of government. What makes this election interesting is the process on how people now choose their leaders. Traditionally, we oath to go for people with great experience, plans, smart and proper character and attitude someone we normally call 'honorable'. This election changed that idea, people now go for leaders with real simple plans to solve recurring problems in the society, strong work portfolio to showcase their capability to govern and implement real solutions. Good luck to the newly elected president, I wish you well in your quest to change this country into something everyone wish it should be. Peace!
