john 3:16...

they say during this time of the year... is the time for love and forgiveness... the season for reflection and remembering the start of the human salvation... but sometimes many forgot the true essence of Christmas... it's not about the food on the table... not the gifts... not the flashing lights on the trees... it's all about the way we feel about Jesus Christ... that is way it's called "Christ"-mas not xmas... by celebrating this... we recognize the importance of our Lord to us... we remind ourselves of his birth that saved us from our sins... as for me i'm glad to be here with my family... what else could be so complete other than with them... that's the most important thing for me... i'm with my family... and for all the people who have been a victim of my being human attitudes... i'm sorry... you may or may not forgive me for some reasons you believe and i respect that... but isn't it great to have a clear and loving heart during this ti

season greetings!!

no politics...

i've been thinking of any interesting topics that i could write in here today but it seems that my head is out of sync and i just can't think of any... i choose not to tackle politics for now… maybe my life is not colorful and interesting as of this moment… in the coming days probably before the year ends... i’ll be posting my own TOP 10 events of the year… it will be about anything that took my attention and curiosity in year 2005… a lot of unexpected events unfolded this year and many have changed this world… watch out for my list i’ll try to make it a good one… Merry Christmas to all! peace!

rainy morning...

prelim exams ended yesterday... today is my start of a long holiday break... i'm glad that i was able to pass all my subjects last semester... hehhe!... finally here in bacolod a SM mall will be constructed at the reclamation area by the 2nd week of January 2006... this is a good thing for the city and the people who took time to be in SM iloilo just to do their shopping and i expect a lesser traffic in front of Robinsons Place.. neyhehe! ... this city is moving forward and i just hope that the people behind the governance of this place and the losers during the last election would do the same... ok?... last night... the con-com approved in finality their recommendation to the president to change the present form of government to parliamentary... they want to give more power to the congressmen or the members of the parliament in that case... imagine?? tsk! tsk! also in their proposal is the stopping of 2007 election.. huh! why?? this move is a clear strategy... think of having an

prelim exams...

pinoy big brother...

Jennivev "Nene" Santillan Tamayo is the big winner of the Pinoy Big Brother! Congratulations!

hello! garci?...

prelims starts next week... i had a conflicting schedule on weds... acgt2 and math6 at 9:30... i need to arrange things with my math prof this coming friday... there's no class toms... over ANC was the house of representatives inquiry about the alleged cheating during the last presidential election... that chamber is chaotic... i just can't imagine why people put them in there... it is pretty clear why this country is dying... the way those people leads this country... there's no hope if we don't change... another sad day for juan dela cruz... gising! mga kababayan! go for the truth! Hello! Garci? peace!

boxing... beach volleyball...

the Philippines took 8 of 14 golds and 3 silvers in boxing finals yesterday (04 Dec. 05) at the Univ. of St. La Salle stadium... the women boxers took all 4 golds in their division by a sweep... the last fight between the Philippines and Thailand ended when spectators started to throw objects inside the ring and judges... forcing the Pinoys to resign giving the Thais an easy win... the crowd is reacting on the scoring... when some clear blows coming from the Filipino is not recognized and given a point... well at the end judges decision is still the final verdict... while in the beach volleyball... just this afternoon the Filipino settled for bronze after beating Indonesia in 2 sets... Congrats! to all Filipino athletes! you made our country proud! and as of this writing the Philippines still leads in the medal tally with 113 golds...76 silvers and 85 bronzes... you can check http://www.2005seagames.com.ph/ for the complete figures per country... hopefully we will be the overall champ

indoor volleyball...

my whole family watched the Philippine womens volleyball team play against team Thailand in west negros college... the jam packed venue of supporters cheering for the national team was silent after 3 sets... this is the 2nd lose for the girls in 4 outings losing their bid for the gold... they played well but it wasn't enough to defeat the Thais... this country has a lot of good players in different field... when it comes to boxing... bowling... billiards... etc.. Filipinos create names and honor for the country... but due to lack of support from the government... they lose the opportunity to compete globally and develop their skills to become more competitive... we have long been dreaming of winning our first gold medal in the olympics... but the most we could get is a silver... maybe this government must design a program that will involve large private companies in supporting our athletes in their training and other international competitions... like giving them tax breaks or alik

beach volleyball...

the whole morning i was in USLS to watch Diane pascua and Heidi ilustre of the Philippine beach volleyball team play... the two filipino-american scored a win in their two assignments... first in the morning against team Malaysia and team 2 of Indonesia later in the afternoon... the fil-am tandem started their campaign by a win over team vietnam last wednesday... i wish them luck and hope they could bag the gold... go philippines!...
