the early politicians...

though this is not the 1st time but an election controversy occurred after 33% out of 8963 electorates cast their ballot… one party cries “rule of law” while the other “stand for the truth”, a student government election fought like a national elections… a good sign or the otherwise?... I believe that it is good to see the young fight for their rights, recognizing the existence of laws that provides order in the society but I also believe that while we uphold and exercise such laws, it is important to understand the consequences of our actions… what I am saying is about when 2 parties comes to an agreement or decide on matters outright without bringing it to the higher level… the reason why our courts has a tons of pending cases because of people who simply wants to accuse one another and file charges without doing a settlement outside the four walls of the court of laws… we have written laws but these are laws are not designed to provide justice all the time, a good lawyer can drag a case for years and get a favorable judgment at the end… for students, do we really need to draw such attention and make matter worst for us, creating a perception that at this early stage of our student life we are already involved in corruption by the way of cheating in student body elections?... yes, I agree we are taught to fight and stand for our cause but in this case, is it worth fighting for?... all of you want to serve the student community, all of you has the ability to make a difference, all of you are capable, all of you is right based on your own belief and yes all of you are good leaders… the bottom point here is “service”, and not all needs to be a president to provide such, in a student publication one headline says “I am the legitimate president”, sounds like erap isn’t it?... a case filed for lack of due process, so what if the student court hands its decision saying that the student’s commission on election result stands, what’s next then?... supreme court?... peace!

starting with a fresh installation with not much of an idea can bring you to the strange land... that's happening to me... with not much knowledge in joomla! i tried installing the thing on my online site... while it sweetly works on local workstation it doesn't online... first not knowing the latest version... i installed 1.0 and a lot of problems came out... fix here... fix there... hmmm.. it's not working... solution ask from the guru's in the community site... then i was told i'm running the old version with a lot of bugs in it... that happens when you don't read instructions like me... hehhe... i now need to reinstall which i did using the newer 1.5RC and hopes for a much better result... but then again like the first one, a problem... the client side is in disarray... asked for help from the forum and did some adjustments... i did corrected some error though... but no totally... need to work on it now... reposting link... http://tupv97.pandela.org/tupv97/ ...
