Happy New Year!

It's the last day of the year 2015. Taking time to look back on so many things I witnessed and encountered this year, a mix of adventure, exciting, fun, stressful and heart breaking days meant to happen as a way to learn more things in life and at the end made us stronger than ever and much more wiser. If we pause for a while and try to understand the real meaning of life it is somewhat hard to really understand everything, the purpose, the way it must be lived, the destinations and the endings. With different perspective or views we can't really agree in all points on how it should be done. Each of us lives in a unique world, every day comes as a blessing to all of us and how we spend it will depend on our own individual likings. But as we open our lives to other people we tend to align our days with them which creates a new unique experience for us. No matter how we celebrate life the main goal for me is to be happy with everything, life is not an easy ride and it is a good ...

Season Greetings

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you all. Went away with my usual Christmas post for a change. Last December 13, Me and my friends were able to take part in one of the Ingress anomaly 'Darsana' in Manila. It was a fun filled afternoon ruined by the torrential rain just right when the 1st measurement started, we got all wet right from the very start. Sadly our faction did not win but the entire adventure is totally priceless. Peace! Bacolod Resistance Agents #resbcd  Travel Buddies

almost over...

December. It's that month once again, seems everyone are looking forward for this month to come, thinking about holiday vacations and shopping sprees. Looking back how the year went for me makes me glad that despite of all the challenges I was able to come out feeling happy and satisfied. After years of being silent and trying to heal wounds of the past I thought it's really time to move on and start with something new but sometimes situations are really not in our side, you end being hurt further. More than ever. But was glad that I tried a bit. Peace!

summer 2014...

It's officially summer here in the Philippines and the weather is totally unlikable. Temperature peaked at 32 Degrees Celsius (89.6 f) as I write its 30 and its almost midnight. Summer class starting soon, gonna need to prep some materials for the Android classes. Peace!

quotes on IT....

Asked my students to write an essay about their experience taking Information Technology and here are some of the quotable words. Peace!  IT students needs lots of dedication and originality.                                                - Ronald Poja (IT) Makes me stay awake at 3am and sometimes 5am having a date with my laptop.                                                                                                  - Mary Joy Torevilla IT will always be my kind of crazy.                 - Angeli Nicole Morales

celebrating life...

I quit counting long time ago that sometimes I'm confused already lol. I'm really thankful to all the people that surrounds me, my entire journey is totally amazing with them. My ever loving family who doesn't fail to support me in whatever things I do. And most of all to God who never leave my side, this life of mine is always dedicated to Him. Thank you for everything. Peace!

food talk...

Whenever you are in the City of Smiles what comes on top of your wishlist is always about what and where to eat. Visitors in the city enjoys the local offerings and versions of popular national foods. One of the famous food we have is the chicken inasal or chicken bbq, you can't find other places that captures the taste and uniqueness of Bacolods' inasal. Next is the Batchoy of noodle soup, a comfort food to every Bacolodnons. In the coming days I'll be reviewing some of the best restaurants and food within the city. Peace!

honor code...

You'll hear argument questioning where's the honor code now after they graduate? Asked maybe in relation to some cases where some graduates were implicated in some corrupt practices. It's like being a part of a family, our parents molded us to be a good person to others; be responsible; be principled and be a God fearing individual. As we grow and face the challenges in real life, our parents has no way to control each and every decisions we make but they know and they are not worried if we may make mistakes it is because they are confident we will live a life built on their teachings. It may not be true to all though, particularly those who grew with so much challenges in the family, like a broken one. What you become will never be based on how you were trained or taught, it is about the personal conviction to do what is right or wrong. At the end of the day, where would you prefer to be? The one where you are thought to be good or somewhere who don't. Peace!

life of an educator...

The Start Not once I dreamed of becoming a teacher. I dreamed to be an engineer after high school, went to a technology school, finished electrical engineering technology course and took bachelors degree in electrical engineering. Started working in a semiconductor manufacturing company for almost 7 years before deciding to stop working and go back to my home town for further studies. That time it was a big decision to make, finish my EE degree or take computer engineering instead or electronics engineering. I indeed taking information management that started my whole computer career. Back in my semicon days, I worked as an AutoCAD operator, doing all spare parts drawing for our company and that's the closest engagement I have with computers and I mean work related, who can forget the counter strike sessions I have with my board mates in Muntinlupa back then? ;) After graduation, I tried to land a job in China with a help from a friend but wasn't able to get the spot. back to school...

Vacation is coming to an end, time went so fast and my two months break is almost over. It was an amazing experience to come over for a visit and I hope to see more of this wonderful country in the future. Words can't express how thankful I am to my sister, her husband and my mom for making all things possible. Peace!

few more weeks...

Okay, I'm on the last two weeks of my vacation, been to many wonderful places and was able to observe the American culture. I can't stop myself from comparing everything I see with my own country and probably one would say that it differs 100 folds or way more than that, I would agree. I was able to go to several national parks and conservations, those places opened a question in my mind like how come we don't have or why we can't do similar things back home. Will try to come up with a nice piece later. Peace!

Going home from church, we decided to have a brief stop in a nearby lake to have our pictures taken. When we got out of the car the breeze is freezing cold, we manage to take some pictures then went our way. Peace!
