as i write my sister and kuya gil is already on their flight back to PA... it was a short vacation for them but it was good to have them here during the new year celebration... yesterday afternoon i was with teddy and brent doing our most loved activity... foodtrip... heheh... first stop gerry's grill, it was our first visit since its opening a few months back and did try out some of the food they have... the food was quite alright but the sisig is not that good compared to some other resto in town... then we went to kuppa for a cup of coffee and as usual we ended ordering a pizza with it... heheh... today, i cut my finger... whehe... i was making a pizza bread (again) while i'm slicing some ham, i accidentally hit the tip of my left index finger with the knife creating a small slit enough for the blood to mix with the ham... hahah.. just kiddin it did not, i manage to get my hand off the ham before it started to bleed... peace!
After a much heated campaigns the election fever are almost finally over. Pending the final canvassing of votes by the congress the people have chosen a new leader to rule the country for the next 6 years. The presumptive president is a mayor from a city down south of the Philippines known for his iron fisted style of government. What makes this election interesting is the process on how people now choose their leaders. Traditionally, we oath to go for people with great experience, plans, smart and proper character and attitude someone we normally call 'honorable'. This election changed that idea, people now go for leaders with real simple plans to solve recurring problems in the society, strong work portfolio to showcase their capability to govern and implement real solutions. Good luck to the newly elected president, I wish you well in your quest to change this country into something everyone wish it should be. Peace!
