CBA Rules!!....

i'm about to hit my bed and i remember that i haven't updated this blog... so here i am... CBA yes indeed we were crown as the over all champion of the recently concluded college sportsfest 2008 of our school usls... our club was tasked to do the points tabulation for our college... the volunteers really did well on their respective assignments and congrats to all of us... we are still the champions and we shall continue to show them that CBA rules!... hehehe... solidarity party was held at mezza... everyone was there partying, dancing with the beat... i just don't know what time they ended coz teddy and i went to mo2 after a couple of beers before finally going home... just this afternoon... err... yesterday afternoon that's saturday... i went to robs to buy a set of electrical switches for my moms room... going to a known hardware store inside robinsons i grabbed a few switches and directly went to the casher to pay for them then after she had scanned the item i handed her a 500 peso bill the only money i have that time, she then asked for a change like 100 maybe coz i'll be paying about 80+ only and i politely replied that i have nothing... then she started scanning the items of the lady next to me and told me that if i can just wait until she have some change she then returned the money back to me and there i wait... not long before she finished giving the lady her change of her Php500, she asked me if i just come back later... wt# is that?... i am here a customer goes into your store to buy something and you tell me to go back later because you don't have a change for 500?... is it your job to make sure that you always have enough change for your customers?... or is it your job to look for change?... you don't tell your customers to just go back later we might have the change already or try to find some change and come back later... pissed off, i went to sm and bought the things i needed from ace hardware and hey i can use my advantage card for my purchases... lessons learned don't buy from that store from now on... peace!

Change is Coming!

After a much heated campaigns the election fever are almost finally over. Pending the final canvassing of votes by the congress the people have chosen a new leader to rule the country for the next 6 years. The presumptive president is a mayor from a city down south of the Philippines known for his iron fisted style of government. What makes this election interesting is the process on how people now choose their leaders. Traditionally, we oath to go for people with great experience, plans, smart and proper character and attitude someone we normally call 'honorable'. This election changed that idea, people now go for leaders with real simple plans to solve recurring problems in the society, strong work portfolio to showcase their capability to govern and implement real solutions. Good luck to the newly elected president, I wish you well in your quest to change this country into something everyone wish it should be. Peace!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

The year is about to end and yes it was one challenging and full of adventure 2018. Who would thought that after 10 years I'm still here working in a university, something I didn't even plan to pursue but probably it was a decision that I took and never regretted. Starting from an engineering background which is also the first job I took at a semiconductor manufacturing company for so many years and later going back to college and shifted into programming. To look back, the Singapore trip with my colleagues is one for the books, it was a fun filled adventure going around Singapore, visiting Google Singapore office and Expedia, the food and meeting our former students and workmates who are now based there. Last May, I was fortunate to be given a chance to visit Google at Mountain View, CA and attended the  GDG Leaders Summit and Google I/O 2018. Meeting my co-leads from the my own country and the rest of the world is an experience one would appreciate a lot, basically lea

Happy New Year!

It's the last day of the year 2015. Taking time to look back on so many things I witnessed and encountered this year, a mix of adventure, exciting, fun, stressful and heart breaking days meant to happen as a way to learn more things in life and at the end made us stronger than ever and much more wiser. If we pause for a while and try to understand the real meaning of life it is somewhat hard to really understand everything, the purpose, the way it must be lived, the destinations and the endings. With different perspective or views we can't really agree in all points on how it should be done. Each of us lives in a unique world, every day comes as a blessing to all of us and how we spend it will depend on our own individual likings. But as we open our lives to other people we tend to align our days with them which creates a new unique experience for us. No matter how we celebrate life the main goal for me is to be happy with everything, life is not an easy ride and it is a good
