went to sm with teddy yesterday for some lovely chicks spo..t..ing.. err... just kiddin... heheh... it was actually the fireworks competition that we intend to watch and yes we saw some familiar faces and some cute new faces as well... im not really sure how many participants they have but last night the first 3 did their demonstration... the 1st one was quite all right but not that overwhelming not much of display patterns... the 2nd one was the best among the 3... timely executions, very nice patterns, big bangs... hahah.. i don't really know how to describe it... the 3rd one was a little bit of a disaster... heheh... the fireworks did not work... technical problems they said due to a slight rain before the competition... actually the last one was highly anticipated among the group since they compete in international competitions... but yeah... things like that happen all the time... on saturday the next batch... can't wait... oh.. the traffic... 45min in traffic is not so bacolod... hahaha... peace!
After a much heated campaigns the election fever are almost finally over. Pending the final canvassing of votes by the congress the people have chosen a new leader to rule the country for the next 6 years. The presumptive president is a mayor from a city down south of the Philippines known for his iron fisted style of government. What makes this election interesting is the process on how people now choose their leaders. Traditionally, we oath to go for people with great experience, plans, smart and proper character and attitude someone we normally call 'honorable'. This election changed that idea, people now go for leaders with real simple plans to solve recurring problems in the society, strong work portfolio to showcase their capability to govern and implement real solutions. Good luck to the newly elected president, I wish you well in your quest to change this country into something everyone wish it should be. Peace!
