at last... u-week ends today... err!... i mean u-days... yes it is... dubbed as (1 4 3) 1 lasalle 4 3 days... i don't really understand why they rimmed it down from a 1 week celebration to a very short 3 days... our club had our yearly digital art exhibit at w12... with a lesser time to prepare we managed to present a good one... the problem was our location, anyway our display includes computer generated photos and flash animations... ok.. yesterday i was told by my prof to join the web design contest by the comsci... i do not join contest... and that's for real... hahhah... but my prof keeps on pushing me since she don't have an ample number of participants, i asked jr to go with me... both of us for the sake of having fun went to join 90 minutes on the spot web design contest... the funny and unexpected side of it... i won first place... hahahah... yeah... this afternoon i went to get my prize... hehehe... what an experience... thesis... we finally finished our system... we need to finalize everything and align it with the documentation... peace!
After a much heated campaigns the election fever are almost finally over. Pending the final canvassing of votes by the congress the people have chosen a new leader to rule the country for the next 6 years. The presumptive president is a mayor from a city down south of the Philippines known for his iron fisted style of government. What makes this election interesting is the process on how people now choose their leaders. Traditionally, we oath to go for people with great experience, plans, smart and proper character and attitude someone we normally call 'honorable'. This election changed that idea, people now go for leaders with real simple plans to solve recurring problems in the society, strong work portfolio to showcase their capability to govern and implement real solutions. Good luck to the newly elected president, I wish you well in your quest to change this country into something everyone wish it should be. Peace!
