>part of my new years resolution is to have this blog updated regularly... but im not doing it... hehehh!!... anyways i'm here again... >i'm planning to have my portfolio online, i'm on the drawing board trying to have a good design plus its content... i don't have the whole idea yet but hopefully i'll soon come out with one... im not in a rush anyway... >school is finally over for now... after holy week summer classes starts and runs until the 26th of May... >if you try to check on the news today... CHACHA is everywhere... this is a government proposal to change the charter of this nation from a presidential system to a parliamentary form having a unicameral body, presently we have a bicameral... i actually don't support this move... for a very plain and simple reason... we don't need it... i doubt the sincerity of this administration for pushing this change... and i firmly believe that there are other reasons behind this... i believe in a system of check and balance... it is a controlling factor for abusive politicians... just think of not having that kind... look at how the traditional politicians of this nation manipulates everything just to get what they want... a very fearful scenario... they don't even tried to explain the totality of the change... i just hope that people will wake up to reality and recognize their power as a people... don't be fooled by these self protecting politicians... let your voices be heard... NO TO CHACHA!... peace!
After a much heated campaigns the election fever are almost finally over. Pending the final canvassing of votes by the congress the people have chosen a new leader to rule the country for the next 6 years. The presumptive president is a mayor from a city down south of the Philippines known for his iron fisted style of government. What makes this election interesting is the process on how people now choose their leaders. Traditionally, we oath to go for people with great experience, plans, smart and proper character and attitude someone we normally call 'honorable'. This election changed that idea, people now go for leaders with real simple plans to solve recurring problems in the society, strong work portfolio to showcase their capability to govern and implement real solutions. Good luck to the newly elected president, I wish you well in your quest to change this country into something everyone wish it should be. Peace!
