transport strike in the city today... no classes... after this week and next week... a break from studying for a week... thanks for bringing SEA games here in bacolod city!.. heheh!!... for sure i'll be watching football games in Panaad stadium... i installed jcreator in my pc yesterday but i forgot to download the JDK... it will take me about 10hrs to download... yes! i only have 40kbps vibe connection here guys!... poor me... what could i do?... i'm learning java this sem... i already had a book about... how to program in java... sometime ago i learned using basic and a little bit of vbasic... i just hope i could learn this one easily... i have a Red Cross banner in here now... it's my way of showing my support to them... hope in my little way i could help spread the message... let's support them... they need us!... let's fight poverty... let's fight for freedom and life... we deserve all the good things this world could offer... let's fight corruption... let's fight for the truth!... gloria resign!.. peace!
After a much heated campaigns the election fever are almost finally over. Pending the final canvassing of votes by the congress the people have chosen a new leader to rule the country for the next 6 years. The presumptive president is a mayor from a city down south of the Philippines known for his iron fisted style of government. What makes this election interesting is the process on how people now choose their leaders. Traditionally, we oath to go for people with great experience, plans, smart and proper character and attitude someone we normally call 'honorable'. This election changed that idea, people now go for leaders with real simple plans to solve recurring problems in the society, strong work portfolio to showcase their capability to govern and implement real solutions. Good luck to the newly elected president, I wish you well in your quest to change this country into something everyone wish it should be. Peace!
