I'm a coffee lover no doubt, not an expert when it comes to taste but I know my coffee when it's a good one. Here in my school, there's a newly opened cafe managed by the university, it is called English Cafe. The name English Cafe has nothing to do with english coffee or England coffee variants but was given to promote english as a language. The cafe was built beside the USLS - Language Center, according to the USLS website . The English Café, designed by Arch. Glenn de Guzman, is a two-storey coffee shop which aims to provide students especially those enrolled in the English for Global Communications (EGC) program, faculty and staff, a place where they can bond together while using the English language during conversations. a single action can lead to questions that are seem hard to understand or to answer... what am i talking about?... i don't know... hahaha... ok, my car pass sticker was confiscated yesterday for parking in a wrong spot... hahaha.. bad me, well life's like that, in every inch of happiness comes the opposite but i choose to be happy :p... sportsfest is over and congrats to CBA for retaining their over-all championship crown, while i'm already with CAS, i'm still a CBA at heart... i'm also happy for CAS for they gave it their all, sad thing for our cheering group though, unable to win the grandslam this year but not without a controversy... over-all it was a week of fun, sweat, cheer and excitement... now, back to work... peace!

college sports fest starts monday afternoon with the cheering competition up front... competing are the 5 colleges, the defending champion the college of arts and sciences (CAS)which i belong now, the college of education(EDUC), college of nursing(BN), college of business and accountancy(CBA) and the college of engineering(ENGG)... defending the over all crown is the CBA, if they successfully defend their crown it would be a 3peat for them, sadly i can't chant for them now we were transferred under the coat of CAS for good but we are hoping to have our own college in the future composed of BSIT and BSCS, for now cheers for the Green! CAS!... one week of fun, sports and unknown activities that would pop up anytime in the week... peace!

i'm about to hit my bed and i remember that i haven't updated this blog... so here i am... CBA yes indeed we were crown as the over all champion of the recently concluded college sportsfest 2008 of our school usls... our club was tasked to do the points tabulation for our college... the volunteers really did well on their respective assignments and congrats to all of us... we are still the champions and we shall continue to show them that CBA rules!... hehehe... solidarity party was held at mezza... everyone was there partying, dancing with the beat... i just don't know what time they ended coz teddy and i went to mo2 after a couple of beers before finally going home... just this afternoon... err... yesterday afternoon that's saturday... i went to robs to buy a set of electrical switches for my moms room... going to a known hardware store inside robinsons i grabbed a few switches and directly went to the casher to pay for them then after she had scanned the item i hande...

tomorrow is the last day of the college sportsfest and so far Team CBA still leads the tally count for the over-all Championships... we lose in some of our crucial games like our football team who are the defending champion last year but wasn't able to reach the championship game but still we're all glad that we've been able to get the much needed points from the other sports... championship games will be played tomorrow for our womens volleyball team... the womens basketball team and the tag-o-war teams both men and women and in the afternoon is the competition for the cheer dance and dance sports at the coliseum... our club will be busy monitoring the total tally points at the end of the competition... go CBA!... peace!

college sportsfest 2008 starts monday and as usual the task of tabulating the scores for the overall championship is on us... we really hope that cba retains its crown after regaining it last year from the college of nursing... CBA!... and oh the school has a new redesigned site... http://www.usls.edu.ph , it looks better now than the old one... i've just finished downloading the sound library files for my mixcraft 3 ... i'm trying to learn how to make a song out of it... heheh... peace!

we're planning for our club christmas party celebration and at the same time an acquaintance for the incoming lower year... but i've got frustrated on how they reacted when we announced the place since they prefer to go somewhere else... honestly.. i don't really care if they don't join us, to think we are doing this one for them and if they can't appreciate it, we can do nothing about it... well..well... puso ko... hahahah... peace!

just this morning i downloaded an installer for second life www.secondlife.com ... a lot of you may already be familiar with this online 3-D virtual world... in our mountains we don't have it that's why it's my first time to try it out... hehehhe... not really... i heard of it a lot of times but knowing me, im not really into online gaming... though i play online billiards from time to time... so i did try it this evening with a help from my friend tammy who plays a lot... after a while i still don't know how things work... ehehhe... got a photo of me and my friends inside the virtual world... and i'm an alien... hahahaha... peace!

life is designed to fail that's how i view it and people are given a lot of chances to defy such destiny... simple things can lead to a major achievement or the other way around... and this is life and as it is we need to have control over it... first thing we need to know our purpose, then set our goals and work on getting them and when we’re there we do not stop… we continue to move forward… life is a continues process and it only stops when our heart stops functioning… ok where i’m going now?... for me life is always a challenge… a challenge of survival… a challenge of keeping it in order… a challenge of keeping it exciting and a lot more kind of trials… while it’s true that sometimes we lost control but things should not stop in there… losing control is just another kind in which it tries to see the capacity to get yourself all together and rise from the ruins… see?... that’s life!… an exciting experiment… peace!

yesterday we had our club outreach activity at the capitol lagoon and it was nice to help some little kids in our own little way... after that we went to sm for a window shopping then had our dinner at manokan country the home of the original chicken inasal... it was a fun day... peace!!...

got a new place to dine here in the city, we planned to try it out and last weds we did... the place has a good ambiance and delicious baby back ribs, its called rib house... its located near doctor's hospital just across the street... the price is reasonable just enough for a student's budget... last night while i was driving i spotted that gerry's grill was finally open, i'm not that really new about this resto since in manila there's a lot of them, i'll just need to discover what's different on this one... heheh... with a lot of nice places to go when you love to eat, nothing can still beat the original manokan country, chicken inasal with garlic rice is still the best for me... peace!

finally we started with a project... me and teddy agreed to create an entity name to represent ourselves we call it Bacolod One http://bcdone.pandela.net ... while reading a forum i found this site http://www.pinoybigbriber.com and i started laughing hard... nyahahah... peace!

after 4 hours of waiting... my heroes s2 epi 7 dl is finished... i can watch it later... for now... i'm going back to sleep... hehhe.. peace!

i started doing my first joomla! site... it's an experiment for me since i don't know joomla! that well... i already had it running in my pandela account for the tupv97 community... http://tupv97.pandela.org ...i encountered some problems that until now i haven't found any fix... still digging for it on the net... got two problems so far... 1st "PHP register_globals setting is `ON` instead of `OFF`" i have that message on the admin panel... i tried doing some fixes i found on various forums but still i cannot resolve the isssue... i'll be seeking a guru's advise on this one... also for my 2nd problem... this one can be a file transfer issue but i'm not really sure of that... if you're going to look at the image below... there should be a menu on the top for all the functions and control but all was gone for the reason that i really don't know... the encircled part is a hint why... i just don't know where to start... hmmm... peace...

i've just returned from a 6 day field trip in cebu... i've tried blogging from our hotel room but our connection id too slow... going back... all of us had a great time and really enjoyed the tour... while some guided tour can sometimes be a stressful experience the one we had is an exception... we had a two full days visiting companies and other course related businesses with side trips on some historical places in cebu... on the 3rd day we went to tambuli beach resort for a day of fun, swimming, volleyball and syempre food... hehehhe... the 4th was a free day... went to SM City cebu and Ayala Center... taste the lechon cebu, shawarma which has a tasty sauce, bulalo, had some coffee sa starbucks then we ended up eating at jollibee for our dinner... nyehhehe... it was a fun experience... sadya2x gid ya... peace!

bacolod city is celebrating its 28th masskara festival and the 69th charter day anniversary... www.bacolodcity.gov.ph ... lot's of dancing, food, music and BEER! in the city... i've learn that last night lacson street was the venue of electric masskara and it was really great... i was in victorias last night... haahahah... anyways try checking to check the celebration sched and maybe you can still catch up... hehehe... it will end on sunday... but then again i will be in going to cebu... hahahah... have fun bacolod!... peace!

i and john went to have our project in im108 printed and later submit it to ms. teray... then tambay sa csl31... there's this small booklet about bacolod that i happen to get when i dropped by sky cable... with nothing to do, i tried visiting sites from the print advertisers... one of which is merci www.merci.com.ph and on their homepage i saw my picture... nyahahah... it was taken during awarding for the web design contest held in la salle... tawa ko ya eh.. hahah.. anyways... 4 days to go... cebu here i come... peace!
