rants...

to the organizers, speakers and all the people behind the PHP Everywhere conference , congratulations to each one of you... i may not be present that day but based on the feedbacks coming from the community it was a good one... i've been a member of the phpugph forum for sometime now and i saw how dedicated those people are... only if i'm close to manila i would really be glad to provide my service to the group... again congrats to all of you guys... in anything that we do there are those who can't really appreciate things... like this blogger ... he's out to discredit the organizers, while yeah great expectations can cause great disappointments but that can only be applicable for those people who attended the conference and not for those who just assumed things out from reading or hearing from others... the guy was not even there, so how in the world can he rate or create a sensible comment?... i'm not saying that we want only positive words out here and yes its ...

joomla!...

i started doing my first joomla! site... it's an experiment for me since i don't know joomla! that well... i already had it running in my pandela account for the tupv97 community... http://tupv97.pandela.org ...i encountered some problems that until now i haven't found any fix... still digging for it on the net... got two problems so far... 1st "PHP register_globals setting is `ON` instead of `OFF`" i have that message on the admin panel... i tried doing some fixes i found on various forums but still i cannot resolve the isssue... i'll be seeking a guru's advise on this one... also for my 2nd problem... this one can be a file transfer issue but i'm not really sure of that... if you're going to look at the image below... there should be a menu on the top for all the functions and control but all was gone for the reason that i really don't know... the encircled part is a hint why... i just don't know where to start... hmmm... peace...

php gid...

i'm now working on the product comparison feature of the system where you can select 2 products and view the specification side by side... i was able to create it but not after i click on the add to cart button... i can't load a product in my cart from that page anymore... tsk! i've been tryig to correct it but can't really get where it has to be done... anyway i have another approach in mind right now... how about using a database... hmmm... it's sleeping time... goodnight world... and goodnight my... aheemm... you're my inspiration...
